InDecisive Nail Lacquer

I would like to start out the new year with swatches of InDecisive Nail Lacquer which were kindly provided to me by their creator. It is a new Indie brand that sets out to help you find "what to wear when you can't decide what to wear!" With such pretty colors and finishes, however, it is still impossible to decide which one to wear. It has everything from glitter packed jellies to holo to a color changing top coat.

Sugar
A densely packed scattered silver holo. It is thick, but easy to apply. Absolutely gorgeous both indoors and outside. I have already used this once before for my fireworks manicure, but my lightbox photos didn't do it justice so I waited for sunshine to reswatch. We are not talking exotic warm location sunshine here, this is Seattle winter sun and look how pretty it sparkles...

Ichor
A temperature sensitive color changing top coat. In the bottle it appears to be a black jelly. I applied one thick coat over a pure white base although it can be used over any base. It is changes color at 86°F, but I didn't test it to such exact specifics. It is darkest when cold and the color fades as it warms up. When layered over white it creates a soft gray that ranges from light when warm/hot to dark gray when cold.

My favorite was this gradient and ombre effect that I got while writing this post so I had to snap a few extra photos. My pinkie was cold and therefore the darkest, while my index finger I guess was doing most of the typing and was warm. I'm absolutely crazy about this top coat and my personal new temperature gauge...

This is what it looked like after soaking in some cold water...

Majority of the time it appears as a gradient with the tips dark and lightening up as it approaches the base of the nail.

This is after running them under hot water...

Really the easiest gradient manicure ever!

Brick
A burnt orange cream with small black glitter. The color is great and the peppered in black glitter really adds something special to it. The formula is nice and smooth. Two coats for full coverage. It has a satiny finish as it dries so swatches are with a top coat to bring out the shine...

Lush
A forest green creme. It has a bit of a sparkle to it in the form of micro glitter. The formula is a bit thick, but manageable. It is very pigmented and almost completely opaque at one coat. I ended up using two coats with a top coat for these swatches...

Innocent (over Lush)
A mix of different sized white glitter in a clear jelly base. The glitter is not densely packed and seems to just sprinkle the nails with glitter at one coat. While multiple coats can be layered to get more glitter, I thought it looked beautiful and "innocent" at just one coat. Swatches are with a top coat...

Cosmic Bubbles
A royal blue jelly base with white glitter. The glitter in this is very similar to Innocent except obviously in a colored rather than clear base. The formula is great and very easy to work with. The glitter distributes evenly and does not get lost or overpowered by the base. I love the depth of this manicure as the layers build up. I used three coats plus a top coat for these swatches..

Sparkly Vampire
A deep maroon red jelly base with back and red glitter. The formula is very nice and easy to apply. It has good coverage at two coats, but I used three coats to build up and darken to bottle color. It is hot and vampy and I love it...

Besides being really impressed with the range of colors and finishes available, I'm happy to say that the brushes in these small bottles were very easy to work with. That is always a big concern of mine when it comes to mini bottles.

I'd love to know what you think of these! Which one caught your eye?
