Polished by KPT Kelvin Bleu, Permanganate and Vanda...

Guess what! I've got a few more beautiful Polished by KPT thermals to show you today. I hope you are loving them as much as I do! Katherine, the creator, owner and mastermind behind these thermal wonders sent me the most amazing package to swatch and share with you. As you can see I've been swatching them just a little bit at a time because I don't have the heart to take them off right away. I want to enjoy them all! So selfish of me, right?! Ha!

Today I would like to show you the beautiful Kelvin Bleu, Permanganate and Vanda...

Kelvin Bleu
This beauty is a pale gray with bluish undertones when warm and transitions to a vibrant blue when cold. It is filled with a subtle holographic shimmer which is really lovely. It is listed as a top coat which can be worn over other polishes, but I got good coverage at just two coats over nakie nails. It has a great formula which is easy to apply. It dries with a slight satin finish and needs a top coat for full shine and to bring out the holo shimmer. Swatches below are two coats plus a top coat...

Warm state...

In transition...

Brr! Cold state...

Permanganate
This beauty has so many color changes it was impossible to capture them all. It transitions from a very very pale grayish lavender when warm to lilac to a bluish purple when cold. It is loaded with a silvery shimmer. The transitions occur easily and it changes colors frequently on the nail. The formula is very nice and easy to work with. Two coats, as seen below, provides good coverage even at the warm state which is the sheerest. Swatches are with a top coat...

Warm state...

In transition. I was surprised to have caught a bit of all three colors on the nail because it doesn't last too long in this transition state before it either warms up and looses the darker blue or gets even colder and the dark blue spreads up the nail...

Medium coldness...
(I can't help but think of steak when I describe these... rare, medium or well done anyone?)

These are all varying degrees of coldness that I saw...
This beauty really is so quick the change color that even the polish in the bottle kept changing throughout the photo session. I had to keep checking to make sure I was holding the correct bottle!

The illusive triple color... be very quiet, you don't want to spook it!

Vanda
This tri-color beauty transitions form a very pale grayish sky blue to a pale mauve and a medium orchid at it's coldest. It is finished off with a light pearly shimmer. This also has a great formula and applies very easily. It transitions very easily between the different states on the nail. Swatches here are two coats with a top coat...

In transition...

You can see the tri-color separation in this transition here. Again as it warms up, the darker purple fades and if it gets colder the purple spreads further up the nail...
